International Exhibition and Conference for Shipbuilding and Equipment and Technologies for Development of the Arctic and Continental Shelf OMR will take place in Saint-Petersburg, where the world’s famous Russian forum RAO/CIS Offshore has been running for twenty years.

Saint-Petersburg is leading intellectual, scientific and industrial center of Russia. Historically, one of the leading industries in the economy of St. Petersburg is shipbuilding. Here is the harbor and submitted all types of shipbuilding companies: known worldwide design institutes and design bureaus, shipyards and industrial plants are 90% of scientific and project capacity of the industry and 30% of the total size shipbuilding country.

Based on the shipyards of Saint Petersburg and the North-West region are constructed vessels, platforms and technological systems for the development of the Russian Arctic and most of the continental shelf. Besides industrial and high resource potential, St. Petersburg has a developed transport infrastructure, here is the largest port in the European part of Russia.
