Gazprom Dobycha Shelf Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, a 100% subsidiary of Gazprom, is the designated operator of the Kirinskoye block of the Sakhalin shelf (Sakhalin-3 project).
Development of Kirinskoye block fields of the Sakhalin shelf is parts of the Eastern Gas Program, which will make it possible to provide consumers of the Russian Far East with energy resources.
A distinctive feature of Gazprom Dobycha Shelf Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk is that the development of reserve in the Kirinskoye gas condensate field for the first time on the Russian shelf is carried out using subsea gas production technologies without above water facilities.
The head office of the company is located in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk with branches located in Nogliki, Sakhalin and in Moscow. The Company’s separate subdivisions are located in St. Petersburg and Murmansk.
The Company has staff of over 600 workers.
