The OMR forum is the only hybrid business platform in Russia that focuses on discussing the development of offshore oil and gas resources in the seas of Russia’s Arctic zone, operation of offshore facilities under difficult ice conditions, transportation of hydrocarbons, navigation of the Northern Sea Route, digitalization of business processes, navigation and communications in the northern waters, marine medicine, and industrial and environmental safety in the Arctic. The forum program spans four days and features a plenary session, several roundtables, and consultations involving leading industry experts.
The plenary session will discuss the strategic goals and objectives of shipbuilding and engineering and technological support for the developing of hydrocarbon resources in Russia’s Arctic and continental shelf.
More than 700 industry experts have confirmed their participation in OMR 2022.
Conference activities will be illustrated by an exhibition presenting engineering solutions for the creation and operation of a modern fleet and promising techniques and equipment for developing the shelf infrastructure, including the construction and operation of ports and the advancement of the transport system in the Arctic.
Participants of the exhibition include more than 60 industry enterprises as well as enterprises and educational institutions of Saint Petersburg and Arkhangelsk and Leningrad Oblasts (with regional displays).
Attendees may attend technical workshops at Saint Petersburg enterprises and the Presentation Area and the Import Substitution Exchange at the exhibition.
